Recordings are normally stored on the memory card. Models that support Wi-Fi and an app can also let you view or download videos on the smartphone. The actual operation may vary depending on the model of the dash cam.

Choose the capacity according to the model’s supported specifications and maximum capacity. A compatible high-endurance card is recommended for stable long-term and loop recording. Most LOOKING's models support up to 128 GB, please select a suitable memory card based on the specifications and user manual of each product. It is recommended to back up important dashcam footage regularly to prevent data loss from loop recording or memory card failure.

First check if the card is inserted correctly and whether its capacity and specifications are compatible with the device's specifications. Test the card in a computer or other device if necessary. Contact LOOKING customer service if the card stll doesn't work after trying above solutions.

When the memory card is full, LOOKING dashcams with loop recording will automatically overwrite older files to keep recording. If you have important accident or driving footage, please back it up to your phone or computer beforehand to avoid having it overwritten.

Dashcam memory cards do not have a fixed formatting schedule; regular checks are recommended based on usage frequency and card condition. If you experience recording interruptions, failed file saves, or memory card read errors, back up important videos first and then format the card according to the product instructions.
